About CarrierLink

CarrierLink is a program in the Newberg/Dundee/ St. Paul area for elderly adults and adults with disabilities who live alone.  CarrierLink offers the comfort of knowing that someone who visits your home regularly will call for help if you need it.  See www.carrierlink.org for more information about CarrierLink in five northwest Oregon counties.

How Does it Work?

If you register with CarrierLink, your letter carrier will provide a special service for you.  If your carrier notices an accumulation of mail or ay other signs that might suggest you are in distress, he/she will report it to Faith in Action.  Faith in Action will try to contact you by phone.  If you cannot be reached, they will call the individuals you list as emergency contacts. Failing to reach any of these contacts, Faith in Action will contact the appropriate authorities to check on you.  All information you give is confidential.
